Jan Brown Checco lives and works in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her body of work includes paintings, drawings, ceramic mosaics, installations and conceptual design for thematic exhibitions. Community-based workshops are frequently used to plan and realize her public commissions. Jan’s studio-based processes include traditional mediums and techniques as well as imaginative uses for recycled materials. She also has a decade of experience in illustration, graphic design and operation of international artists exchanges.
