Paintings – Large Scale Acrylics
The largest paintings of Jan’s portfolio were created in her Pendleton Art Center studio. Generally they are made on vinyl canvas, with some large drawings created on photo drop or kraft paper. One special “quilted mural” created for Homewood Lodge was developed through digital design combining Photoshopped images printed onto synthetic fabric which was stitched together and painted pointalistically with acrylic colors. Finally, the image was padded and beads added to the intersections of the quilted rectangles.
